Latest Update: In view of the latest development of COVID-19 situation, please note that the "Construction Industry Blood Donation Day" will be postponed to Nov 2020, and the "Construction Industry Shoreline Clean-up Day" will be cancelled.

Construction Industry Sports & Volunteering Programme (CISVP) strives to promote the volunteering culture in the industry, encourage more industry organisations to form volunteering teams, organise and participate in various volunteering services, as well as contribute to the society with our own strengths.

CISVP launches "Lo Pan Service Month" every year to carry forward the spirit of Master Lo Pan and encourage all industry practitioners to join various volunteering services, the services will also be promoted widely to the society.

Total 3 signature volunteering services will be organised in “Lo Pan Service Month 2020”.

Construction Industry Blood Donation Day

Collaborating with Hong Kong Red Cross Blood Transfusion Service, blood donation stations will be set up in Hong Kong Institute of Construction, CIC - Zero Carbon Park and The Federation of Hong Kong Electrical & Mechanical Industries Trade Union.

You and your families and friends are cordially invited to join the Blood Donation Day. CISVP also encourages industry organisations to hold or participate in blood donation, all industry practitioners and public are welcomed to join. “1 Blood Donation Saves 3 Lives”, let’s save lives.

Construction Industry Shoreline Clean-up Day

Construction Industry Lo Pan Rice Campaign

Due to the economic recession caused by the epidemic, the livelihood of the grassroots have been greatly suffered recently. CISVP inherits the spirit of Lo Pan, and launch the “Construction Industry Lo Pan Rice Campaign” to give the “Lo Pan Rice” to disadvantaged groups. Starting from 29 May (Friday), CISVP will collaborate with different NGOs to give the free“Lo Pan Rice”to the singleton elderlies, the unemployed, low-income people, people with disabilities, mentally-ill, grassroots families, etc., to show them the care and love from construction industry.

All industry practitioners are cordially invited to sponsor the rice boxes, as well as join the weekly volunteer service of rice boxes packing and distribution.

The CISVP is following the latest updates in relation to COVID-19 pandemic, events shall comply with the latest guidelines from the HKSAR on prevention of COVID-19. We remind all participates to wear a surgical mask, perform hand hygiene with alcohol-based handrub and keep social distancing.
