" After suffering from both natural and man-made calamities over the last year, all industries in Hong Kong are facing unprecedented challenges. The latest unemployment rate rose to 5.9%, a 15-year record high, and is believed the situation will continue to deteriorate. What we need is a more impactful “Rose Garden Project” to help Hong Kong step out of the shadow of the crisis. Proposed by the Chief Executive in 2018, the "Lantau Tomorrow” is definitely the way out and hope for Hong Kong’s future. "

" Currently, there are nearly 500,000 registered construction workers in Hong Kong and their livelihood is seriously affected by the persisting epidemic over months. The Construction Industry Council (CIC) has been proactively implementing various construction related initiatives of the “Anti-epidemic Fund” set up by the government by acting as the implementation partner to coordinate and disburse the funding to the industry.
