Sustainable development has to be achieved via individual behavioral changes and the adoption of sustainable consumption habits. CIC-Zero Carbon Park (“Zero Carbon Park”) hosts the " Sustainable Happiness．Low Carbon Green Market" to enhance environmental awareness and encourage Reuse and Upcycling practices as well as give a second life to commodities and reduce waste.

Zero Carbon Park has invited several green social enterprises and non-profit organisations to participate in the event. The market is also open to the public which allows participants to exchange second-hand goods and achieves the benefits of sharing community resources. Diverse activities including storytelling, green upcycling workshops, and busking performances by local performers will be organised concurrently to encourage the public to embrace green and low-carbon lifestyles.
