As the Hong Kong first zero-carbon building, since its completion in 2012, CIC-Zero Carbon Park (CIC-ZCP) does not only showcases various low-carbon and eco-friendly construction technologies, but also serves as a testing platform for promoting societal sustainability. To further expand our impact, CIC-ZCP has launched the “Green Partners Programme” last year, fostering cross-sector collaboration to unite diverse groups in working towards the goal of carbon neutrality by 2050.
Green Partners Programme: Driving Sustainable Development Together
The Green Partners Programme is open to all Hong Kong-registered businesses, construction industry stakeholders and individuals. The programme aims to gather resources to advance CIC-ZCP green projects while providing partners with opportunities to showcase their low-carbon and eco-friendly concepts to the industry and the public. Green Partners can promote their environmental initiatives through our recognition schemes, such as displaying on CIC-ZCP’s Eco plaza screens, naming rights for green construction workshops, or tree-naming at CIC-ZCP urban native woodland. The programme does not only fulfil personal or corporate environmental commitments but also enable partners to demonstrate how their products or services align with the core values of sustainable development.
Green partners can receive charitable donation receipts for tax exemptions and enjoy venue rental discounts, which encourage businesses to host events at CIC-ZCP and incorporate eco-friendly principles into their event planning. As a testing ground for green technology, CIC-ZCP also offers a platform for companies to showcase their latest innovations, facilitating their adoption within the industry and community to promote diverse applications.
Shaping Corporate Image Through Environmental Advocacy
The Green Partners Programme does not only support CIC-ZCP’s development but also enhances public awareness of sustainability, allowing businesses to showcase their environmental commitments, elevate their brand image, and strengthen their sense of social responsibility.
