The integration of artificial intelligence (AI) and robotics is transforming industries worldwide, and we’re excited to explore how these advancements can shape our future. Our Chairman, Ir Prof. Thomas HO, led a delegation to the East China region, visiting leading tech companies in Hangzhou to explore China’s advancements in these fields.

We were inspired by ArchiFiction's innovative 3D virtual scene programme based on real space, enabling device-free digital upgrades for industries like industrial and educational. Similarly, the Manycore Tech Inc. utilises Virtual Reality (hashtag#VR) and Building Information Modelling (hashtag#BIM) to develop multiple indoor design platforms, with service coverage spanning over 200 countries and regions.

Robotics technology in China is also world-class. The quadruped robot developed by DEEP Robotics operates in extreme conditions (from -20°C to 55°C) and low-light environments, pioneering fully autonomous inspections of substations. These robots excel in factory operations, pipeline inspections, emergency response, and fire reconnaissance. Meanwhile, BrainCo focuses on developing non-invasive brain-computer interface and bionic arm technology, leading in the rehabilitation field. Additionally, its dexterous bionic arm is sought after in other industries like industrial production for its significant benefits.

Technological advancements are driving industry transformation, and we are dedicated to staying abreast of technological innovation trends and bringing new perspectives to Hong Kong’s construction industry.
