Today, the delegation continued to explore the future of low-altitude economy, witnessing the Greater Bay Area’s leading advancements in innovative technology and driving the digital transformation of Hong Kong’s construction industry.

The day kicked off at a development project in Bao’an, utilising Smart Tower Crane technology. The technology enables remote control of tower cranes via mobile devices, recording real-time environmental and operational data from the lifting area. By leveraging autonomous navigation and 3D modelling, the project significantly enhances safety in high-altitude operations and work efficiency.

Next, the delegation visited the Low-Altitude Economy Industry Exhibition Centre in Bao’an, which provides an integrated platform for "production, education, research, and commerce" for enterprises, supporting smart logistics and urban planning and positioning the region as a hub for drone industry development.

The highlight was the 9th World Drone Congress with over 800 global exhibitors from the drone and low-altitude economy sectors. Under the theme “Low-Altitude Economy, New Era”, the Congress focused on unmanned, electric, and intelligent technologies, driving the development of New Quality Productive Forces.

Engaging with global construction leaders and exploring innovative solutions, the delegation recognised the immense potential of the low-altitude economy to drive Hong Kong’s construction industry towards a smarter, more efficient future.
