Mr. LIU Genghui, Deputy Director of the Department of Housing and Urban-Rural Development of Guangdong Province, led a delegation to visit the CIC.

The visit fostered meaningful discussions with Ir Prof. Thomas HO, Chairman of the CIC, Ir Albert CHENG, Executive Director of the CIC, and representatives from the Development Bureau and the CIC. Together, they explored the CIC's role in promoting industry development, strengthening ties with the mainland and nurturing talents for Hong Kong's construction industry.

The delegation visited the Digital Twin Hub, MiC Resources Centre, CIC–Zero Carbon Park, and CITAC - Construction Innovation and Technology Application Centre. The CIC–Zero Carbon Park recently completed a restoration project with wood sourced from fallen trees and garden waste, showcasing CIC's commitment to green building and sustainable lifestyles.

This exchange deepens the collaboration and communication between Guangdong and Hong Kong, providing a platform for dialogue and partnership across the construction industry in the Greater Bay Area.
