Terms of Reference

  1. To facilitate the integration of Hong Kong’s construction industry into the national development by enhancing communication, cooperation and business collaboration with relevant Mainland and overseas enterprises and institutions.
  2. To support other Committees in sourcing of technologies and good practices in the Mainland.
  3. To identify measures and provide support to construction industry for promoting and exploring business opportunities in the Mainland and the other parts of the world, including supporting promotion under the Belt and Road Initiative.
  4. To analyse business of local construction industry and to provide industry support and promote good practices to enhance efficiency and quality.
  5. To provide statistics and data analytics related to local business environment.
  6. To promote professionalism through promulgating industry standards and guidelines, and promoting best practices.
