ZCP New Energy Vehicles Exhibition

Utilising new energy sources is a key tactic for achieving carbon neutrality by 2050. To drive forward with this vision, ZCP has collaborated with different sectors and organise the “New Energy Vehicles Exhibition”. In addition to brand-new electric vehicles, some innovative new energy solutions, such as those powered by ammonia and solar energy, are also on exhibit. This further demonstrates the infinite potential for the development of new energy vehicles. Also, interactive STEAM car workshops, photo spots, and fun booth games are available for car enthusiasts of all ages to start their low-carbon journey.

The three-day exhibition features EV seminars for in-depth exchanges between industry practitioners and EV lovers, while children can experience the fun of driving a mini electric construction vehicle in a little construction site! Together, we can transform Hong Kong into a smart, thriving, and green city by advancing technological innovation, accelerating the growth of renewable energy, and opening up new possibilities for future transportation.

Solar car SOPHIE drives STEAM education sharing

VTC Solar Car SOPHIE is one of the outstanding student projects in the engineering discipline. Since 2009, it has designed and developed solar car SOPHIE to educate students on the technology and application of new energy. The seminar sincerely invites key members of the solar car SOPHIE to introduce the VTC solar team and past competition experiences to help everyone equip themselves with new energy vehicle knowledge as early as possible and explore the STEAM development milestone of solar cars together!

STEAM Advanced Remote Car Workshop

Participants can enjoy STEAM learning experience through assembling their own remote cars, and understand how gears and power work and how electricity is converted into power. They can customise their remote-control cars with colors and decorations to make their own original designs! Also, don’t miss the opportunity to create 3D scanning for the cars by using the advanced technology "Mesh Scanning Technology" in the Interactive Zone of STEAM Lab!
