I was invited to speak at Tsinghua University's International Engineering Summer Program in Beijing, where I shared my views on “Hong Kong’s Journey to World-Class Transport Infrastructure and Building the Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macao Bridge: A Journey of Innovation and Collaboration” with a group of elite students from around the world. I shared my engineering experience as the former Director of the Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macao Bridge Hong Kong Project Management Office under the Highways Department. Using the bridge as a case study, I explored how Guangdong, Hong Kong, and Macao implemented a world-class infrastructure project through technological innovation and policy coordination. I also highlighted the contributions of Hong Kong’s construction industry and discussed future trends in construction with these aspiring leaders.
