To facilitate the vision of the HKSAR Government to achieve carbon neutrality in 2050, the Sustainable Construction Charter will serve as the guiding principle to continuously foster the establishment and implementation of practical solutions among industry practitioners for decarbonisation. The charter comprises construction waste reduction, recycling of resources, maximising electrification on sites, adopting modern and innovative technology of construction methods, implementation of coporate ESG, and talent development etc.
To recognise outstanding projects and organisations that best utilise Common Data Environment (CDE) to improve project management, collaboration, productivity, and sustainability.
This Award recognises outstanding local projects and local organisations for their contribution in the promotion and adoption of digitalisation tools and workflows and in bringing about innovation in these areas to improve productivity, quality, sustainability and safety, with measurable KPIs.
The CIC has "Smart Construction Empowered by Digitalisation" as our vision; and our goal is that "All processes involved in the built asset lifecycle are streamlined and digitalised to continuously improve productivity and safety during planning, design, construction and operation, and sustainability for better quality of life".
