Safety founds the basis of the construction industry’s development. To advocate for better safety measures, and raise safety awareness amongst industry practitioners, the CIC hosts regular events and seminars that educate and provide the latest safety related information to workers and professionals across all levels, as well as issuing timely and informational safety alerts, in order to combat any potential workplace hazards, and contribute to a safer work environment.

Build it Smart, Safety from the Start

The "Life First" campaign aims to enhance safety awareness in the construction industry and raise safety standards on sites.

The "Life First" campaign was introduced by the Construction Industry Council (CIC) in 2020. With the active participation and tremendous support from the industry stakeholders, the CIC would like to organise the "Life First" campaign every year to continue its vision and mission. We would like to recall all stakeholders to take up roles and responsibilities to enhance construction safety and "Walk the Talk".
