About the Event
Construction Industry Council (CIC) launches its first Sustainable Construction Award in 2018. The Award recognises sustainability best practices among organisations and practitioners in particular of the young generation of the construction industry. The award is now open for application and nomination. To demonstrate more about the award application details, all industry stakeholders are cordially invited to join the award briefing. Through the briefing session, it is hoped that participants will have a better understanding on the assessment process, judging criteria and eligibility of the Award.
A guided tour will be provided in the Construction Innovation and Technology Application Centre (CITAC) which is the CIC’s latest effort to introduce innovations and technologies. CITAC is divided into 5 thematic areas; namely Industrialisation, Informatisation, Intelligentisation, Integration and Infinity. Participants can enjoy the virtual reality (VR) experience in new-built structure and acquire practical knowledge on the adoption of advanced technology in worldwide construction industry.

The briefing session will be postponed if the No. 8 typhoon signal or above is hoisted or black rainstorm warning is raised 3 hours prior to the event. The organiser will inform the participants by email for any new arrangement subsequently. |

Online registration and the guilded tour will be processed on a “first-come-first-serve” basis. |
