Special Surprise Inspection

 

Smart Site Safety System Labelling System was launched in 2024, with the aim of promoting the comprehensive application of the Smart Site Safety System to enhance construction safety through technology. To further strengthen safety measures, in addition to regular inspections, the Construction Industry Council (CIC) has established a special inspection team. Starting from 6 July 2026, this team will conduct special surprise inspections on construction sites that have been awarded 4S Label, especially those involving high-risk processes.


During the special surprise inspections, the special inspection team will check whether the smart site safety system equipment or that system is installed correctly and functioning properly. If any site is found to have not properly implemented the relevant systems, 4S Label will be immediately confiscated. In the event of a serious accident at a site, the special inspection team will promptly follow up and arrange surprise inspection.
