Collaboration Scheme

Overview

The CIC provides training subsidies for collaborative partners, as well as trainee allowances and bonuses for people aspiring to develop their career in the construction sector.

Construction Tradesman Collaborative Training Scheme (CTS)

This scheme follows "first-hire-then-train" approach. Trainees are first employed by the employer, then they will receive an initial training provided by the CIC.

Contractor Cooperative Training Scheme (CCTS)

This is a "First-hire-then-train" scheme. An applicant is employed by contractor or subcontractor and then received the on-site training which is provided by the employer. Eligible persons can be given training subsidy and go through assessment for skill level.

Contractor Cooperative Training Scheme – E&M Trades (CCTS-E&M Trades)

This is a “First-hire-then-train” scheme. An applicant is employed by E&M contractor and then received the on-site training which is provided by the employer. Eligible persons can be given training subsidy and go through assessment for skill level.

Advanced Construction Manpower Training Scheme - Pilot Scheme (Structured On-the-job)

This scheme aims at training up Intermediate Tradesmen to become Senior Tradesmen.

Advanced Construction Manpower Training Scheme - Pilot Scheme (Skills Enhancement Courses)

This scheme aims at training up Intermediate Tradesmen to become Senior Tradesmen. It is open for application by eligible Intermediate Tradesmen who should apply at the trade unions offering the courses under this Scheme. Courses are tuition-free.
